New Brozz in NC

Hi, thanks to reading a lot of threads here I decided to get one of Peace Sports' remaining 2018 Brozz 250s. I don't mind conventional forks and rear drum, and the deal / dealer reputation sold me. Jeff at Peace Sports was great to deal with and I highly recommend them.

I ordered it last Wednesday afternoon, and the driver dropped it off at 8am this Monday. Build was finished Monday. Today is Wednesday, and I just returned from the DMV with a plate for it. Now I can start riding!

I'm in the Chapel Hill area of NC. My other bike is a 2019 Royal Enfield INT 650

Regards,
Nick

I don't think you are missing out on much with the 'old' Brozz with its standard forks and rear drum brake. Congrats!!

Thanks. Yes, it arrived it great shape without a scratch on it. I only had 2 leftover bolts & washers after building it so that's not too bad. I could only find build videos for their newer models with the inverted forks and rear disc, so I hope I didn't miss anything.

great looking bike..! enjoy.. I'm sure you have run across suggestions on these forums to check the valves..it is a valid concern for sure.... On my '19 Brozz, the valves were very tight, needed a few turns backed off, to just get to any clearance. If I had not done this prior to that first start, I'm sure my impressions of the bike's cold starting,..and then driveability,.. would have been very different of what they were. (this is by far the least cold-blooded 4-stroke bike I have ever had,..and I've had plenty)

Yes, I adjusted the valves this morning. They were tight. I noticed it was hard to start when warm yesterday so I let it cool overnight before adjusting.
