Dakar 2020!

First American rider to win Dakar! Also the first Honda team to beat KTM in years. I don't normally keep track of motorsports events, but our local paper has been all over this since Brabec is a local desert guy. Very exciting.

That is awesome! My question is; where is the course nowadays? I know it was moved from the Sahara due to terrorism concerns to South America, but now they mention Saudi Arabia. I was confused, lol

Culcune it seems to move periodically, I believe this is the first year was the first to be hosted by Saudi Arabia. Almost 5,000 miles in 12 days! The crashes and mechanical failures are insane, and the level of fatigue the riders face is unbelievable.

Edit: In another first, an American won the side by side class this year! Very well done.

I had always thought Dakar like Formula 1 racing was heavily favorable to the Europeans.. Way to go!!~
