The registration process took a little trickery to get done. The VIN that is etched into the neck of the frame doesn’t decode. I was faced with either registering it as a kit or foreign import, and both methods required some seriously time consuming hoop jumping. I found a haul away CB250 nighthawk locally and cut the neck off and disposed of the rest.

You're saying you welded that steering neck on?

It’s not as intense as it sounds. A little drilling and riveting is all that’s required.

Is there a way to determine who manufactured the engine?
