Man that's a loaded questions around here. lol
Replace the oil that came with in it with a non-synthetic motorcycle oil designed for wet clutch. Run it through a few heat cycles. Just ride it normal and try not to do any long wide open throttle runs. Put about 100 miles on it then replace the oil. Next oil change about 200-300 miles. Avoid synthetic oil until you get about 1000 miles on it. It should be broke in by then.

It came with a extra NGK plug and 2 quarts of motorcycle oil.
I usually run Kawasaki oil in my KLR and buy it buy the gallon for a good price so that’s what I’ll run in the Hawk |

So why is it we shouldn’t use synthetic oil in our bikes at break in? I’m just wondering. Heck I can’t find wet clutch motorcycle oil that isn’t synthetic at any of my auto parts stores around me.
