These would make good bikes for those people asking about shorter learner dual-sport/enduro bikes for their wives or girlfriends. Of course, these aren't necessarily DOT certified for the street, and might not be as easy as plating even compared to Hawks, but for many, these will do the trick! Not to mention, for those who don't want a Grom or Grom-like-vehicle (GLV), and don't want the hassle of adding street equipment to a pit bike, these would make perfect minis. I could see myself with one of these vs. a Vader or KPMini for around town fun and/or buzzing around the desert in the parts that aren't beach-like sand (Yuma is quad country for the most part).

This is awesome! I’d love to have one especially if I could get it registered.

Would you keep the 14" wheel on the back and throw on a 14" up front to replace the 17", or try to go 17/17? I wonder if a 17" rear would clear? I am envisioning a poor-man's Kymco K-Pipe like bike with the 17/17 setup, if a 17 could fit on the rear.

Ideally I'd shoot for the 17 " combo, but i wouldn't be adverse to the 14's on both ends .Coming from a Vader with 12" rims , either one would be an upgrade, one just more so than the other.
I'd love to find some cast wheels instead of spokes that could be made to fit , to get a real supermoto look , I think i might have to go poke around and see whats out there .

It looks like a ktm copy kinda. the 250cc version seems to have some similarities as well.

I'm actually thinking it may be a clone of this one? But with a 125cc 4-stroke. https://www.ktm.com/us/mx/65-sx/ |

I hear that.
I'm actually looking for an actual Grom. Been looking at the Grom SF's and some GromFatherZ parts. But this... this bike... I want this for my no frills low maintenance, no computers, etc. bike. There are several guys in the FB groups I'm on that have ordered these. |

I wonder how this bike preforms in its stock form versus it with the "performance" head and carb added.

I think the "performance headwork" is just installing the carb, nothing else. I'm sure it makes a huge difference, but installing a carb is pretty simple.
