Hello from Northwest Florida

I live in Northwest Florida almost at the intersection of Alabama and Georgia, near the Lake Seminole. I just purchased a 2019 Taotao TBR7, and have driven it to work for the past two days. I am eager to find out how to care for this bike, and make suggested upgrades.

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new TBR7. Most of the information in the Sticky at the top of the Dual sport Section for the Hawk will apply to the TB7. Or you post and ask if you can't find what you are looking for.

I have a major question:
On my bike, just after the exhaust manifold, is an silver looking gadget bolted onto the exhaust pipe about 1 inch after the manifold. It looks wierd. It has a finger sized rubber pipe coming from it running over the top of the engine, with a plastic gadget attached to the rubber tube, attached to nothing. What is this thing?

Hi billatloaus. I'm new to this forum too. I noticed you are in Florida like I am. Did you have any issues getting a tag for your TBR7?

I had a little problem getting a tag in Florida. But my local office contacted Tallahassee and within a week found the problem. TAOTAO is not registered as the manufacturer of this bike in Florida. There is a wierd Chinese manufacturing company's name associated with this bike. Once that was discovered, I was able to title and tag the bike just fine. I am waiting for my title to arrive to find out what the name really is. It was disclosed on the Bill of Sale or the Manufacture origin documentation.

RE: Florida Title
I received my Florida title today. It lists the MAKE at TAOI. All the paperwork went well titling my TAO TBR7.
