Lifan KPR200 first look and impressions

Sorry it’s been a while. I didn’t want to plaster this place with my videos so I save them for ones people might think are useful.

Nice video. I've been eyeing that bike since it came out.

I was just about to upload your video because I was not sure how often you check in around here, and felt it is worth it for people to see this bike in its natural habitat--the 'mean streets'. It really and truly looks high quality and seems to be one of the 'new standards' of Chinese bikes which also include the Zongshen siblings, the RX3 and RX4, as well as the Buccaneer from SSR (which coincidentally uses the Lifan 250cc twin that Lifan uses in their new to the US cruiser, the Lycan). Lifan seems to have done their homework on quality. Heck, even their dual-sport with the 200cc 163 FML engine is fuel-injected rather than a run-of-the-mill carb.

I was actually looking at Ninja 250r's the other day. It was really disappointing because most that I found either had no title and/or were completely beat.

This may fit what I am looking for. Wife wants LOW power so I don't get tempted to go on the highway and get ran over by a Brodozer that's 14 feet in the air where the driver can't see anyone.

Sounds good. I like the low rumble without the silencer.

Sounds good. How about a vid while riding and maybe a normal flyby?

Really impressed with the highway speeds for a 200cc engine.

Very impressive for 200cc. Good stock headlight too.
Can't wait to see what that motor can do in the adv version.

I am not sure if Lifan will be rolling out the adv. bike. Seems that once Lifan teased and then released the 350cc streetfighter, A. Lifan hinted that is what we are to expect next, or soon-ish. Then again, they have shown the cafe bike, the KPM 200, so perhaps the KPT adv. bike will be on the same certificate. I doubt they will be ditching the 200cc engine anytime soon since it is on a roll of sorts. If all goes as planned, I still expect to get an X-Pect (couldn't resist! ).
