Electrical upgrade?
I saw on another post about heated grips that was long dead about an electrical upgrade.
A long time ago I purchased the stator, voltage rectifier, and flywheel. Why kind of rewiring would be necessary, what kind of things should I be worried about ? is there a voltage regulator as well that i am missing? I understand the cdi will need to be replaced as well, however shy of the wires that are directly connected to the stator itself will i need to make any other adjustments? |

Hmmmmm, so anything directly connected needs to be altered since it would be on a different system (dc) while the battery and accessories on the bike should be ok? I think that’s what I’m gathering, however I really suck st electrical , never did like physics.

Found these connectors, not sure what they’re called as I’m more familiar with molex fittings , but they look to be the kind used in the hawk.

The connectors are used on many bikes but normal wires and not the rectifier.
What colors come out of you original stator? I would think you already have SC but....... 3 yellow wires? or several different colors and 1 being red? then AC I think that it |
