Greetings from Cali. Looking for a new bike

Hello everyone,

New to this forum here, and I am excited with how much people are talking about the Chinese mini bikes. I’m interested in buying a new Grom clone but I am having trouble finding the Gen II version (with the double LED bar style headlight.) I have found the bike on Venom Motorsports but it only gives me the option to preorder and not to buy. On top of that, I read about a user’s unfortunate shipping issues with Venom. So, my question is, where can I find a Gen II clone that will be as reliable as the rest while also being in stock and with a reasonable shipping time frame? I’m eager to hear what you all have to say about the different brands, models, etc.

I bought this one from Venom Motor Sports awhile back, took 10 days from when I ordered it to my house.

You can buy the venom version they have. It's the same thing as the vader with a few upgrades and comes more assembled.

Welcome to here. Depending on where in Commifornia you are, there are a few of the online powerhouses who are based here and will sell you one in person. I have not made it out to Simi Valley even though I am close by in Northridge, but Kronik Racing in Simi seems to be quite knowledgeable with the Vaders. Some of their customers have installed 190cc engines with good results.
