Speedometer doesn't work on Maxfine 150

Hi gang,

Finally got a battery in my 2004 Maxfine 150, it runs great and the electrical all works, but the speedometer stays at 0 when I ride it.

Before I take it apart or lug it anywhere for repairs I wondered if y'all had any pointers?
