Missouri Registration
I am seriously considering buying a chinses dual sport to ride to work and for light off road use. I am not worried about the minor problems I have read about (fasteners, batteries, etc.) has anyone here acutally registered one in Missouri? Any Problems etc?
Thanx |

Not knowing anything about Missouri's road laws, I would suggest to pick from the EPA/DOT approved bikes. Both Lifan GY's have this certification and can be registered in every state except Kalivornia. Some of the Roketa models are also EPA/DOT approved. I think that the Zongshen-manufactured enduro that is rebadged and sold as a Qlink, or rebadged as a Vento is 49 state-approved. I thought Arizona was fairly easy, but I ran into problems registering my Jetmoto at my local DMV office. I fixed the problem by trying a different office in another part of the state. (Jetmoto is supposedly waiting on DOT approval at this time, and the engine is EPA certified, as it's a Lifan 163FML engine--many bikes are Lifan-engined). Good luck!!
