Hibird Engine Tune up Specs

Hi all,
I have a 2006 Hibird qh200e. I've had it for about 5 years now, and want to check the tuning on the engine, specifically the valve lash. Does anyone have any repair manuals or the tuning specs for this engine?

Welcome! Can you show us a pic of the engine? Is it OHC or OHV?

That is a trusty CG engine. Search CG125 on Youtube, and you'll find all the specs you need. The CG manual Humanbeing linked to will also answer a lot.

I noticed it states 'Wildfire' on the engine, a defunct US brand. You mentioned Hibird, which if memory serves, were related to Lifan. Wildfire got into big trouble faking EPA reports or something like that, and their OEM was Lifan, and probably Hibird, too (I believe Hibird used to OEM parts or bikes for Lifan). Humanbeing could probably confirm the connection. My gut feeling is to dig into Lifan information.

Thanks for all the information! I really appreciate it. I've worked over this bike quite a bit already to increase the performance. Does anyone have any suggestions on squeezing a little more out of it though? I've swapped the sprockets and put bigger tires/wheels on it.

Like any four stroke, it will respond to traditional improvements in breathing. A free-flowing exhaust with a less restrictive air filter (with jetting to match) will wake it up. Beyond that, you can try a programmable CDI (although that can make it difficult to start). If you really want to get into it, you can port and polish the head, like Dan and Jerry have.

I have a high flow cotton air filter on it. Any suggestions on where to get upgraded jetting?

Jets can be found at www.jetsrus.com, eBay and Amazon; you can also find them at the local motorcycle shop. It's best to remove the jets from the carb and measure them for starters. If you show us a pic of the jets, we can guide you further.
