carb rejet
Well today I was feeling froggy so I tore the carb off the beast and installed the 115 jet. a slight increase in power was attained. I swear I am having as much fun taking this thing apart as I am riding it.

Is the jet your only power mod so far? Just curious if you noticed the little increase from the jet alone or maybe in addition to a filter/exhaust mod.
I don't plan to make any power mods on mine at the moment, but I'm always interested in what offers to most gain for the least effort. She loves the attention!

The jet wont do much unless your flowing more air, once your flowing more air then you'll need to add fuel (bigger jet) to compensate for the extra air and bring the carburation back into balance.
I wish I could let you drive my bike just to see the difference. I didnt notice to much top end gain but then I was more concerned with the bottem end and hardly ever run it flat out wide open on the road. |

I figure I'll check the plug and maybe I could drill a couple holes in my exhaust. Might make it sound better too.
