Tao Tao 125, won't start...yeah another one.
I have read through some of the forums and have not seen the "hopeful" answer I need.
We are having issues with the atv starting. Period. It will turn over, but never catch. Now... We have replaced the carb, new plug, new key switch. The carb was put on today, it fired right up, rode it around, turned it off, now won't come on. So any suggestions? Thanks. |

Spark ,compression and fuel ,since it ran today you had all three ,figure out if the issue is currently spark or fuel because I doubt your compression went missing if you didn’t notice anything weird when it was running earlier .

Did you check and a just the valves? Tight valves can cause issues.

You could also pull the spark plugs, ground it to the head, then hit the start button. This will tell you if you have spark. Just to make sure the kill switch is in the run position. I done that a couple times. Try to start it, and didn't realize it was in the off position LOL.

The kill switch on our quads are actually turn signal switches, so left or right kills the engine, and the button must be pressed in once for it to start again. I tore our first quad completely apart before I figured that out.
