Carb Tuning Advice- RPS Magician

First off I want to thank everyone on this forum who submitted advice on getting RPS bikes registered. Here in NC I took my MCO, Bill of Sale, and Proof of Insurance to the DMV (with a big friendly smile and some small talk) and walked out with a tag. There was a little confusion on the make, but they actually accepted RPS.

Anyways, I wanted to leave the bike stock, but I'm fairly sure she runs lean. I have to adjust the idle up to get it to idle cold, then I have to adjust it back down hot or it idles way too high. I hear some backfires, all the fun stuff.

Im running the choke midway to give it more gas, which kinda helps.

So can I just adjust the air mixture screw like on any other carb and be on my way or do I need to up-jet?

If I do need to up-jet, can anyone lay out a game plan for me? (what all I need to buy and replace and in what order, previous experiences).

Same engine and carb as the Hawk, so the same things apply.

Up to at least a 105 main jet, possibly a 110.

Put at least 1 shim under the needle clip.

Idle mixture needs to be uncapped and then start with 1 1/2 turns out from lightly seated.
