I always like the idea of racing "on the cheap." A few years back, I had thought that they should have a Hyosung Comet 125 and 250 series.

Cool lookin' spec series. I race with Texas Mini GP, racing on the cheap. I have a friend that runs a chinese built auto clutch 110cc bike and won the novice lightweight endurance class championship on it last season against teams racing NSR50s and XR100s. The bike is amazingly fast and seems reliable.

Here's a short one of me winning the "backward" race, unlimited rules, the track is run backwards, no hot lap, no practice. I love that race. I'm on the 157 green bike.

Some CMRA guys have gotten together and started their own EX250 class, not yet recognized by CMRA rules, but they can run in lightweight sportsman and CMRA mini F4, the 80cc bike, both of which kick their butts, but they're racing against themselves for glory...

I've often though a chinese bike class would be cool cause there's not much aftermarket for cheaters.

cheap racing..

make racing more affordable would be appealing for thousands of people. i am surprised more people haven't utilized the inexpensive chinese machines for anything like that.. like a budget class or something.
