Removing remote start and alarm on 110cc Taotao
Anyone know the correct way to get rid of these things. My nephew has a 110cc taotao cheetah. Never used the remote start once and don't even know where the key fob is. They are never used and are a major drain on the stator and battery. I doubt it is as simple as unplugging them. I can see a round red box under the gas tank and another black box next to it with wires coming out of it. IS ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH REMOVING THESE THINGS PROPERLY AND HOPEFULLY NOT TOO COMPLICATED? Thanks guys.

Thanks for that diagram. ATV doesn't have turn signalsthough. I'm going to unplug and see what doing so effects.

In the diagram where it says cut on the wires to the cdi , that would need to be reconnected
