The blue light has its own wire so you could hook it up either way.

Another update, couple more parts. And finally calculated my average mpg at 74.6.
Finally got around to getting a Uni pod filter. Couldn't find one that was exactly 42mm, but the 44mm fit just fine. It's a little squished under the plastic body, but it works out just fine. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that I need to rejet to a 130 now. As for oil, I just bought the stuff Uni sells on Amazon. I thought I was wasting money on that oil, but turns out that it really does have its own unique consistency. It's more like gear paste in aerosol form. http://a.co/c6trxrw New chain, which was much-needed. I wanted to get the one Motocheez did a video on, but they didn't have it on Amazon. Did a little searching and settled on a D.I.D. 428VX x-ring chain. Came with everything I needed, just had to cut a few links out. It came with 130 links, which would probably be fine for you guys who didn't go down much on your rear sprocket, but don't quote me on that. http://a.co/2orCizR While I was under there, I noticed that my tire has been rubbing against the muffler of the new exhaust. No damage except for smoother knobs on one side. Moral of the story, if you're going to do the exhaust upgrade, be sure to add washers if you need to for some lateral clearance.
