New China rider! Vader 125 question.
Just bought a Vader and I can't wait till it arrives. Just ordered new clutch and break levers, uxcell 7/8" crossbar for my handlebars and I'd like to pick up a fender eliminator kit. Does anyone know if a grom kit would work? Thank you in advance!!

Welcome to here! Maxipad Moto is a member here and is the defacto expert on the Vader. He has several videos on youtube. here is the thread he started http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=17197
And, again, put Maxipadmoto (or just maxipad? or maxipad vader??) on youtube and his videos should show up. He is good at answering there, too. I do recall him putting on some parts that are custom parts for the Grom that worked on his Vader, but I don't remember what parts they were.

Thanks! I've been watching his videos for a while now and that's the main reason I bought the Vader. I'll definitely ask him, looks like he did remove his fender so I'm curious as to what he did. Again, thank you for the reply!

Mini Update: I'm expecting my Vader either tomorrow or Friday. Ordered round bar end mirrors and the Vagabond fender eliminator kit. I'll keep you posted on the fit of the kit, as it's made for the grom, fingers crossed!

Have you been reading the threads down below? Definitely not as 'smooth' to put together and ride as other Chinese bikes, but it seems they all have the same issues, so just work through them one at a time by reading through the threads.

Yessir! I've read as much as I could that's out there. Also, watched the negative videos on the bike. I'll take my time with it, break it in and then start with the mods. If I don't feel up to doing them myself, I know plenty of people that'd be willing to help.

Got my Vader!
Got the Vader put together and took my first ride today! It's definitely a peppy little bike. Topped out at 45mph, didn't really have a nice stretch of road to test it out. It looks like the fender eliminator kit for the grom will work. Changed the oil and put my new levers on. Then something happened...after my ride, about 10-15 miles. I came home, tried putting it in neutral and broke my shifter. Lol, already ordered a new one. Oh well. Besides that, I love it!
