I tried to get a Brozz/Tire recommendation
Long time lurker here. I thought I would try and order a brozz from Powersportmax and two day later a get a email saying they sold out. Looks like im gonna have to settle on the shark. Which is ok because I like the colors better and think the tail section looks a little smoother(no handle like the Brozz/Hawk)
Now to my main point since the Shark/Brozz has a funky tire size, does anybody have any recommendation for some knobbier tires. Looking for something closer to 50%on/50%off or 40%on/60%off Sizes are 90/90 19in 110/90 17in Funny bit of knowledge, those are the stock tire sizes for the Honda XR150L that our Hondoids are based on.

Edited to say, I was thinking of Superior Powersports...Not sure about this place, although is it the same owner? IDN... They all seem pretty shady if you ask me! |

I am wondering in how they are drop-shipped. I should ask Alan Tang. I mentioned to him the other day that goat67's bike came without a pallet, and his bike had damage (he ordered from powersportsmax). He seemed to indicate that perhaps, even in drop-shipping, the retailer chooses the shipping company, but I want to clarify this. He said the company that he uses is very good, and I can attest in the orders I have had have never come damaged from Excalibur whether they came direct or drop-shipped. I will clarify this because besides powersportsmax and superiorpowersports offering seemingly no after-sales support, bikes, particularly the Brozz, have been coming damaged from these places.
This is what I had mentioned the other day on your thread. The Shark is not really a bike that someone has to 'settle' for, as compared with Bashan bikes in the past. They are superb machines, just without USD forks and a fuel gauge as compared to the Brozz. Unlike the Storm 'surge' (couldn't resist) a couple years ago, in which those who missed the Storm once it sold out, who ended up 'settling' for 'generic' Bashan bikes with differing results as compared to the raves of the Storm owners (these 'other Bashan' owners who I won't mention have ended up customizing their bikes and still really like them, so it wasn't necessarily a bad thing having to 'settle' at that time), those who order the Shark will, in my prediction, really like the bike from the get-go, just as much as those with the Brozz have liked theirs. Heck, assuming another retailer picks them up, or ASPCUSA gets their act together, the Enforcer should fill in the gap as well! Bashan has seemingly upped their game across their lineup.

I'm waiting on a commission check so I can buy a Shark or Enforcer. I like the Brozz but I just don't think it will be great off road with the smaller tires.

I've had good luck with SPS, some haven't. Swampy had good luck with PSM, some haven't. Many have had good luck with ASPUSA, some haven't, etc...etc... I only order from CA located vendors because they do all the DMV paperwork for us CA residents. No waiting for MSO's, no standing in DMV lines. Sign a sheet, mail it back, plate and tags show up in the mail. That leaves only a handful of vendors to choose from.

90/90-19 = 2.75-3.00 front 110/90-17 = 4.50-4.75 rear. This tire comes in both sizes that are needed. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...nt---rear-tire

How come the damn links aren't working lately? Look up "Shinko 244" on Motorcycle Superstore. Reasonably priced too.

I was looking at the 244s as they are more aggressive then stock however I was looking for a step further (Something with a more Off road bias). I may end up ordering a shark.. from somewhere.
My original plan was a hawk from Q9 since they are WI based and would handle the Paperwork. And trust me I have no problem wrenching on it to bring it up too brozz/shark level. How ever that counter balanced engine really sings to me.... Speaking of Q9 I actually drove down and test rode a hawk and magician and that what got me started on my china bike journey.
