rjd 200x or rdz 200 both roketa

i'm trying to decide which one is better for me, i ride a ktm 250sx right now but need a 4-stroke to ride with my kid on the trails. i'm looking for something the same size of a ttr230 or crf 230. i'm 6' and 210lbs a big boy so size is important. any other ideas are welcome just try to stay under $1200. i have a roketa pit bike now so i know there quality is ok, that why i was looking at roketa. also has anyone ridden the jackel 150's my local atwoods has them for 1200 but i would have to pay taxes.

Go to the "home" page and on the right side there are a list of Yahoo! Groups listed. One of the groups is called '200chinabike' Group and was set up to discuss the 200cc Hummer bike, and the Roketa equivalent. It's a small group, but from what I gather, the members who have them write that they are very good bikes for the price. Join the group and ask away...

My beef with the RDZ is the choice of a 19" and 16" front and rear tires. There are very few dirt worthy tires out there in those sizes.

There are plenty of choices for the 19/16 combo because that's what the super mini MX bikes are now.

Michelin MS2 starcross mini is an excellent choice (and my #1 choice)

I do stand corrected on the range of tires available. Seems a bit more than when last I looked.

So back to the question at hand--why did they go with these sizes on the pure dirt bikes when the dual sport has the 21/18 combo?

that's why i'm kinda reserved about buying one, 19 / 16 seems like an awful small combo.

There are some situations where the 19/16 seems small, but you will be surprised how well they can do in the woods. Main thing you will want is to be sure you have enough ground clearance for the type of trails you'll be riding.

I take my Hensim 150 w/ 19/16 combo over fallen trees and big rocks without any problems. Depending on skill level of your kid, if it's just trail riding I would say 19/16 should be fine... as long as the bike itself doesn't feel too small/cramped for you.
