Enable the Search All Topics

I get a message that says that this module isn't enabled when I try to use the Search all topics. The site is getting large enough that sometimes it is hard to find something again. Being able to search for key words would be great.
Thanks for the great site!

(or am I just not using the search feature correctly  )

I'll look into it.

I've enabled the Search module. However, it probably won't be of much use since it doesn't include the forums in the search.

That sounds like some of the "features" that get included in software written where I work. :P

Thanks for enabling it.

I smell .Net......

Actually, the portal software (php-nuke) and the forums (phpbb) are 2 different pieces of software that are bundled together. If I had the ambition to learn PHP I'm sure I could fix/change it. I'm not that ambitious.

However, if it was all Perl things would be different.....hmmmm Perl......

Yes, you smell .net, and java, Oracle Forms, plsql, VB, PowerBuilder and about any other non-mainframe legacy language you can think of.
Oh well, I don't have to worry about the languages any more. I do WebSphere admin. 8O Yikes! Did I just say that like it was a good thing?!

I went a looked at search engine info for PHPNuke. I see that it is not known for being search friendly.

Hmmmm...some days I swear that I must be blind! (probably just stupid!)
I suppose that "Search" option has been there on the forum menu bar all along, between the Forum Faq and Usergroups links?
I looked all over for a Search link like that before I posted this initial suggestion. :(
