80,000 free movies and 9,000 free TV shows...YEP FREE!!
Like most of you I am all about saving money. I remember paying ridiculous amounts of money for cable TV service and still not finding anything to watch. Doing some research for an Android TV box I found KODI. In my opinion this is the future of TV. Its 100% free. The only thing you need is a high speed internet connection. It is a little more difficult to navigate than Netflix but if you have an ounce of computer knowledge you are all set. You can download to your Android device (cell phone or tv box), your windows or Apple computer and others. Do some research and check it out. Its amazing. Live TV from around the world, sports channels, movies (old and new), new TV shows, documentaries, etc. I was desperate for good programming in English and now this has saved me. Below is the link and some info. from the website.
I highly recommend 2 Add-ons when you download Kodi. Both give you a look similar to Netflix. Genessis and Phoenix. You can Google them and find the easy to follow instructions for downloading and setting them up. http://kodi.tv/download/ Kodi® (formerly known as XBMC™) is an award-winning free and open source (GPL) software media center for playing videos, music, pictures, games, and more. Kodi runs on Linux, OS X, Windows, iOS, and Android, featuring a 10-foot user interface for use with televisions and remote controls. It allows users to play and view most videos, music, podcasts, and other digital media files from local and network storage media and the internet. Our forums and Wiki are bursting with knowledge and help for the new user right up to the application developer. We also have helpful Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Youtube pages. |

I sure didn't know about it. Of course, I have been living in a cave, in Idaho.

I have an Apple Air Play, is that correct? It has XMBC on it. I haven't used it in almost 2 years because I am a ROKU kinda guy. Anyone know the procedure for getting this Air Play updated with the latest and greatest firmware? I might dust it off and try it out again.
