Hello from Puerto Rico
just writing to say hi.
My name is Alfonso and I live in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I own a Jincheng bike with a 72cc Lifan engine. It is the Honda Z50 replica named Sparky. |

Hi Alfonso, I've spent a lot of time working in San Juan, mostly in Bayamon and Guaynabo. I always enjoy my stays there.

Very cool! I'd need at least a little padding on the seat.

I am working on the pading.
I did lower the pan braces and padding would like it to be no more than 2" high. Also planning on moving the stock rear rack forward closer to the seat pan itself. Just taking my time. Dont have much space. |

I love the Honda horizontal engines and their clones. There is a lot of power in a simple little package.

I like the pipe. I can't tell is it a straight open pipe or are there some baffles in there?

It came with a 19mm Chinese clone carb which is pretty bad casting.
I guess having a hoter cam, exhaust and being a 72cc of displacement I might be able to use a 20 or 22 carb. Bigger than that will probably be an overkill. The exhaust got a baffle, or pieces of it. It is totally useless due to corrosion. I can fabricate one to create pressure and keep the noise down. |
