Can you show us a pic of the connectors on your CDI? I think I have the answer.

Yes, I can take of pic of the actual connector when I get home...

I'm using this diagram below for my CDI box.



On the connector side, the 'kill switch' is a grey wire... the 'ground' is green. I don't remember what color the other wires are. That grey wire is what I have tapped into and grounded to kill the engine before.

Are you certain that your CDI doesn't have two connectors?

Yes. It looks exactly like the one pictured.

Thanks for everyone's help. I ran a jumper wire from the black/white wire on the handlebar kill switch to the grey kill switch wire by my CDI box. That did the trick... Thanks!
