New heater

Where I live it's freakin cold out. lol.. I ordered this propane heater. My bike is in my shed and that's where I have to work on it. I went out today and it was 33 degrees in there. I got my new heater today so I hooked it up and turned it on. Went from 33 to 50 in 26 mins. I have a 8 x 10 shed. I had the heater in the middle of the floor.

I think it worked great. Heated up my shed pretty fast.
I have some new parts I ordered but with my little Mr. Buddy Heater didn't heat up good. Now I can go out and play...
Just have to wait until the first of March and get more parts. Chinese New Year... I never heard of it.. lol

That's pretty cool. Did you buy a propane tank base for it as well?

I've been pondering a real heater for my garage for a while. I've been using an oiled filled space heater that works if I don't get too far away from it. I had been looking at the Mr. Buddy and now glad I didn't spring for it. I guess I will look into something larger, but it's looking now that my best bet is to slice a vein and replace the 50 year old 16 x 7 door with an insulated steel door.

Then someone said why didn't you just use a milk crate? I should of saved 20 bucks and used one.

Excellent point, although I think the base is wider.

It is. When we came home yesterday from a trip it was here. I put it on and it's a lot safer then a milk crate.

Money well spent, then.

Was there any commentary in the manual about ventilation? It seems to me that there must be a need for at least some.

I'm in a 8 x 10 shed. Not insulated. I have enough air coming in. I already looked at that.

I used to use one of those for ice fishing. Kept a portable house nice and warm.
