one more thing..
If anyone is having problems starting with the start button, apparently it may also be a faulty clutch switch. I disconnected mine and jumped the female connectors in the wiring bundle behind the headlight. This also gave me a free hand when testing the circuits with the multimeter. molypod |

You are going to have to REALLY beef up that battery box to get that boat battery to stay on there
Maybe a few tie wraps... Erin

Update:
after a few apparent shipping errors ( distibutor states they shipped the new battery twice but they never arrived and could not produce a WayBill # for either shipment) the Dealer decided to go buy me a new Battery and a new turn signal himself and ship it to me. he through in the turnsignal for my troubles and I upgraded to a much better battery than the what distributor's replacement would've been. anyways dec 23rd and the pachage arrived just a couple days after he shipped it and I spent xmas day putting the bike back together ( good reason to get out of the living room and all the crayziness) Bike runs great now and I took the boys out for a couple rides over the xmas holidays. I think the cold weather may have an effect as the bike seems to vibrate more now than when it was warmer out. |
