correct tire pressure for skyteam v-raptor (retro) 250

In the owners manual it states
front: 250 kpa
rear: 220 kpa

but on the netrider.net.au forum I read:

One thing I have learned about these tyres is that you can't run them at what would be normal pressures. You need to have them at 18 PSI and no higher otherwise you will find it difficult to keep it on the road. Even the dealers didn't know this and the pressure in the manual is not correct. I went to a Suzuki Van Van forum and was able to find a lot of info about the bike from there.

18psi = 124 kpa

Any suggestions?

So Mark how are you going with your pressures set at 18 psi?

And what are the other V-Raptor owners running with?

I pump mine to about 2 bar, i.e. about 27 psi.

I've set mine to the manual.

36 psi for the front and 32 psi for the rear, I'll see how it feels and if need be take a few psi out at a time.
