Forum member Corvairkid also has a ZS250GS bike, and he reports his bike uses the same CDI unit as my Zongshen 200GY-2. Therefore, I suggest you get a ZS067-001 CDI unit from either Zongshen America, or Taobao. You can learn more on this subject by reading the following thread.
http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=12417 My bike revs well past 6,100 rpms, so I think this CDI unit will give you good performance.

Yes, the connectors are identical. However, I strongly suggest you read the following thread to confirm you have an AC-CDI unit.
http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=12417 Apparently, the ZS250GS sold in other countries employs a DC-CDI unit, but at least some of the bikes sold in the United States employ an AC-CDI unit. The ZS067-001 CDI unit I recommended is an AC-CDI unit. It's companion is the ZS067-002, which is a DC-CDI unit.
