Loose Engine Bolts
790 miles and I have had to re-tighten two different engine bolts, even after using lock-tite during prep. My new mantainance schedule is change the oil every 500 and check all the bolts. Has anyone replaced engine bolts with a higher quality product?

I have put grade 8's on my wifes and mine after having several engine mounting bolt failures between the two bikes.

I've broken my rear upper motor mount bolt 3 times, though after the original broke I never really had a proper bolt in there.

I've noticed that a lot of the newer china bikes now have gotten rid of that long upper rear engine bolt and now have a mount closer to what I did on mine.
yeah that long 9" bolt in those loose fitting holes is just not gonna work. |
