The opossums are not aggressive, but they will bite to defend themselves, if necessary. However, if sufficiently frightened, they will "play possum," instead of attacking.

trailbikeryder, that s a nice bike you got there. and a nice area to live in, not so densely populated, with lots of historical places to check out. being a roman empire buff, i ve been to trier (treverorum) one of the 4 capital cities of the late roman empire under konstantin.

Trier is about one hour drive from my house. I have been there many times.
