Wich insurance company?

Just wondering who you have your china bike insured through, I was trying to put insurance on my Roketa RSM-200E, the bike has a valid GA title and I thought it would be no problem. First I tried progressive and they said they will not insure the bike and Roketa is crossed off the list 8O , then I tried State Farm and they also denied it , then tried Esurance and the same thing :?: . I then had to go to Geico and they ran the vin and it came up good and they insured it with no problem :P . As far as registering went it was quick and easy, 10 minutes and done, so now its all legal . But are insurance companies now banning Chinese made bikes or something, I thought the insurance would be the easy part.

I got full coverage through allstate insurance for $265 a year... includes comp, towing, collision, 25/50 and $500 deductable. I have a good driving record, so that helped I am sure.

I didn't have any problem insuring my Zong with State Farm. I pay $100/year for Cadillac coverage.

I have both my bikes on Progressive. No problems at all. I was paying $74 per year for just the SV, it went up to something like $90 per year with the XF200 added on. It is liability only.

My Progressive insurance agent actually has his office at the motorcycle dealership (good business for him!). At one point in time a few years ago they carried the Qlink brand, so he was familiar with them.
