Knothead,
Depending on the state in which you reside you may wish to insure that whatever and whoever you order your bike from that you recieve an mso that states "Motorcycle" under body type. It also helps if you get the bike from a liscensed dealer.. T-Motorsports has been a bit of a nightmare for some of the people on our website.. My experience has been with xxx-motorsports and roketa, they are a liscensed dealer and send out very professional mso's that passed my DMV's criteria. Know your own states requirements first.. before you order.... Or.. find a brick and mortar Lifan dealer.. who will do the legwork for you.. its just a little more expensive. Best of Luck NET

i bought my 2006 a. lifan from a b&m dealer other than he's 50 miles away i have no complaints. i had some issues and they took care of them with ease. after seeing SamM's viva i beleive for the most part all these bikes are pretty good. the only concern is getting them legal whitch varies state to state and that is what made my decision to pay for at a dealer.
