Article on the 10 best motorcycle roads in the country.

http://www.motorcycle.com/events/top...ads-90971.html

Doc's done eight out of 10. Not bad. 8)

I have issue with the list because it does not include the BRP/Skyline Drive. I'd take that over Nevada 375 any day.

That said picking out a 10 best list from this AMAZINGLY beautiful land of ours (US and Canada) is a daunting task.

Also, I'd have put the Parks Highway in Alaska on that list.

It's an impossible list. I thought about it a little more and came up with another dozen or so roads that are as good as, if not less known, than the ones listed. Maybe a top 100 would have been better!

Local roads that could have been on that list would be 395 in Oregon, 2 in Washington, and 12 in Idaho. I could go on and on and on...

Indeed, The Gold Wing and I have a trip planned out to Southeastern Idaho soon! Then Banff National Park this summer, Southern Kalifornia, and God knows what else the summer will bring!

At least they got the Trace
I can't believe the BRP didn't get a mention, either.
'Twould be some nice rides, anyway.
Thanks for the link.

Thanks for posting the link, Doc. I agree; I think it's next to impossible to pick a "top ten" list of rides in beautiful North America!

million dollar

We drove the "Million Dollar" road last summer in a Suburban - very neat road - I had no idea what to expect.
