Tank Motorcycle tire question

Hey, gang;

I was checking my tires on my Vision 250 2i and noticed the FRONT tire is labeled "REAR"! Guess I was so excited over the new bike, I never noticed. Does anyone else have a rear tire for the front of their bike? If anyone else has a Vision (any model), have they changed the tires? If so, what's a good brand? Appreciate it!

Thanks, guys. I checked JCWhitney, but didn't look through all the tires, yet. My front tire is a 110/90-16 59S and the rear is a 130/90-15 66P.

No worries on the tire marked "rear". Over the years I've ridden with "rears" in the front and "fronts" on the rear. I always figured it was sorta like the Harley oil myth (you know the one about having to use oil that is labeled for Harleys).

I guess what really bothers me is the 2 different profiles. The front and rear tires don't match at all.

Think I'm just gonna go with some brand new, BRAND NAME, tires since I got the runaround from Tank!

Has anyone tried Cheng Shin Hi-Max or Street Sharks on their bikes? If so, what do you think of them?

Hi olds_cool
In my opinion Kenda makes a better tire, if you are looking for a tire that's less expensive.

Thanks, Bruce. Yeah, I can't see myself spending a fortune on tires for this bike. I'll check out Kenda and see what they have. I have some major riding coming up next month and want something better than the crappy tires I have now.
