Thanks Doc - We all know I had to wait long enough. This weeks weather is not looking pretty though. Oh well, probably won't have alot of time this week anyway - very busy with work. I'm hoping the week after NEXT I can start using the "q" for my dailey commute to work. My JEEP is not the greatest on gasoline. Looking forward to much much more riding - I'm now hooked like a bad drug - I want more! LOL

It looks like it definitely was a great day for a ride.

I spotted some illegal immigrants there; several Canadian geese. Seems fair I guess, I spotted a few American bald eagles in my area.

I bet you can't wait to put the loud pipe back on.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos, Andrew. Your XF200 looks great in any setting.

Thanks WaG and Spud - Yeah now we are supposed to get snow tonight and next day or so - Won't last though. I'm going to get a few miles on the "q" before I put that Pro Circuit Pipe on, and change the Main Jet. I Have been researching the Trail Tech Computer for my "Q" I am seriously considering one......Problem is I have to buy the Generic Inverted fork Computer, and all it comes with is the Temp sensor for water cooled. So I have to spend another $30 just to get the Air Cooled Sensor. I wonder if they would offer me a custom kit if I e-mailed them? It's crazy to get a kit with a temp sensor that won't be used. I guess I could turn around and sell it on ebay and try to recoup a few dollars,,,,The Temp sensors are all $30 Plus the shipping cost. The other issue I have is the Key Ignition, I may have to fab up a mount and reloacte it of to the side some more. Other then that I'm looking at about another $200 investment to do it. I think this would be a first for a "q" with a trail tech - at least that I know of.......Debating this and still on the wall.....

You're welcome, Andrew. I have a solution for your Trial Tech question. However, I would love to see you share your question, and the answers you will receive, in a thread dedicated to this topic in the Dual Sport Forum. In this manner your question will receive more exposure, and the information you receive will serve as a future resource for others.

I've ridden about 2,000 miles since New Years.

I think I average 10,000 miles a year.

Some of that time, mind you, I'd be frozen soild if not for electric gear. :P

The mountains are very effective in keeping my area dry even though it is currently raining to the north south east and west of my location.

I took the car today. I have errands to run and get stuff that won't fit in the KLR's or the Gold Wings luggage. The Corvette is basking in the sunshine. 8)
