SpudWheel with D.I.D. Rim
I just finished building another custom, 18-inch SpudWheel for a fellow Zongite.
For this particular wheel I laced a size 2.50x18, D.I.D. rim to the Zonshen rear hub with Buchanan's custom spokes. The particular rim is the stock, OEM rim supplied with the Yamaha, TW200 front wheel. I have built three wheels with Warp 9 rims, and I think the Warp 9 rims represent an excellent value. However, this D.I.D. rim is the best manufactured rim I have yet seen. This custom SpudWheel is now packaged, and ready to ship. I hope the new owner enjoys riding upon this wheel for many safe miles. Spud

very nice man, but how in the heck did you know where the spokes go and in what order ?
maybe you should order a few hubs and rims, lace them up and put them on ebay for all the other china bike owners who are in need of new rims

Nice Job Spud. That looks like a good high quality wheel. I think the owner will enjoy the feel of his ride with that on it. New rubber and balance always money well spent.

Thank you, Jersey. You might be unaware of this, but the stock, Zongshen 200GY-2 comes with an 18-inch front wheel, and a 15-inch rear wheel. Since dual sport tires for the 15-inch rear wheel are virtually nonexistant, the stock Zong is essentially a street bike. Therefore, a custom, 18-inch rear wheel greatly increases the selection of knobby tires, and makes the Zong a true, dual sport motorcycle.

http://chinariders.net/modules.php?n...ewtopic&t=7922 However, once a Zong owners acquires an 18-inch, rear wheel, he can also install a 21-inch, front wheel from a Roketa, DB-07A motorcycle, which employs the same front hub as the Zong. http://www.roketa.com/product/parts_...SSEMBLY%285%29 Spud

That's good he has the option for a 21 in the front. With that 18 in the back the 21 would give him better  berm control.

I didn't think to check Home Depot. I found it at Staples. I have alot of stuff to ship and that would really help in packaging it up.
