Templar M Skidplate
Saw a dude on facebook who bought this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N1RACBU...p_mob_ap_share and apparently it fit perfectly on his Templar M. Sorry if this is redundant. https://youtube.com/shorts/wXmtFTG_Hc0?feature=share |

Thank you. Now to get it registered. I've ripped around in the dirt a bit but I have not had a chance to ride it to work and that's what I bought it for.

I wish I could help more but getting tagged in Florida shouldn't be too hard. You'll need the MSO, bill of sale, proof that tax was paid or the sales tax, tag fees, registration fees, etc. Hopefully someone who's actually done this will come along to help.

You need Insurance to plate, at least this is true in every state as far as I know!
What does it say on your Motor vehicle/Motorcycle Certificate of Origin (MCO)?? The MCO is the title origin certificate. It should say either dirt bike or motorcycle. If it says dirt bike, that could be your problem. Ask the seller to provide you with an MCO that has (motorcycle) for type of vehicle. If it DOES already say motorcycle, then the problem is probably that the company "Wuyi Zuma", or Zuumav is not found in there vehicle manufacturers list. You need insurance (liability), to register in most or all states. GEICO insured mine after they manually entered the name "Wuyi Zuma". Do you have proof of insurance??? Maybe this is why they you can't plate it. What reason did they give you? Last edited by Thumper; 12-01-2022 at 02:44 AM. |

Here is a typical list of required docs for first registration/plating:
1. MCO (with VIN, manufacturers name, perhaps mileage indicated/odometer statement) 2. Proof that you have paid your personal property tax (receipt). In Missouri, you need the receipts for the past TWO years. 3. Proof of liability insurance on the vehicle. 4. Bill of Sale showing purchase price. You will also need to present your driver's license. And of course, you need to pay sales tax based on purchase price in most states, and registration/plate fee. Safety inspection is NOT required in the State of Missouri for NEW vehicles. If it is a used vehicle from out of State, you may also need a State Police inspection for VIN/odometer verification. They call that "ID/od" in Missouri. But this is not needed for a new vehicle (MCO is sufficient). Again, What was the reason given for refusal to register your motorcycle??? |

I bought one of these skid plates for my Templar 250 but it doesn't fit well at all. I'm sending it back. Hopefully it fits the X/M better.
