hibird 250cc upgrades lots o pics
here are many upgrades, this is the air filter
battery remounted under the seat and another and another emissions removed here are the honda CRF250 decals and seat cover this is the seat needing to be reshaped another 1 more 520 chain and sprocket on the rear,, it is a 35 tooth rear and a 14 tooth front.. this is the front, i needed to shave a little bit but nothing into the block...also added the small metal cover to protect the wires at the bottom better. thats so far i will upload p[ics of the graphics when finished.. |

You may want to get a sock for that filter to help keep the water and mud out of it.
K&N style will let water right through. Allen

What type of pre filter would you use? I have the same setup on my atv.

It is a piece of foam the goes around the filter.
Also you can get a sock made from nylon that goes over the filter. The UNI filters are made of foam and are alittle better for an offroad application. Allen

I think I may be in on the Battery and the air filter too. That box is a big choke point I think.
I also want to cut out the cat..... :wink: |

here are some graphics and painted pics.. i know that you lifan owners have the tach speedo but the hi birds dont , i bought this on ebay and installed it on the hibird,,, it is prewired for the gear indicator i just had to mach the wires up

Have you seen my album on page 8 of the gallery. Your battery box looks the same as mine. The seat cover, the air filter. Ha it took me all summer to do your mods, very very cool! Except my bike was always perfectly clean You can always throw some zip ties on the box as added protection. Very cool! N2r. |
