Speaking of rear brakes
I installed a new inner tube on my rear tire from a flat. First time doing this and it went well on this BASHAN STORM. However, when I went to reinstall the rear brakes, the rear brakes no longer work. I re-bled them several times and inspected the lines, no leaks. I verified that the master cylinder is getting fluid to the caliper, but the caliper is not allowing the piston to move. Do you think it is a bad piston/caliper?

You may have damaged the caliper piston, or it's stuck.

Used a screwed driver to push the pad in a little bit so it would clear.

Might be time to take apart the brake caliper and clean/re-lube everything with some AGS Sil-Glyde Brake Lubricant
https://www.amazon.com/AGS-BK4-Brake.../dp/B000CIHTPE I found it at a local store for a little less than Amazon..

Is the caliper dirty. Is there a rock in there keeping it from actuating? Need to get it off the disk and observe whats the trouble.

I will look at it today. When I was originally looking at it, the piston is pumping, but does not apply pressure to the disk...So I will try to disassemble today and see what I find.

So I took it apart and it appears to be normal but for some reason this is what is happening. When I pump the pedal to bleed the brakes, their doesn't seem to be pressure building up and the brake pedal goes all the way down. There is fluid in the caliper and no air bubbles. I think it might be a bad system and just need a new caliper or master cylinder. I will just buy one online because trying to warranty this stuff with a dealer is not worth it.

Here's how I bled the brakes on the China Bike... with the bleed valve closed, pump the lever 4 or 5 times quickly... then with the lever still fully pressed, open and close the bleed valve as fast as you can...
Repeat the process several billion times until everything starts working again

I had a somewhat difficult time getting my rear brake to work again after installing a rear brake light banjo bolt pressure switch. I ended up doing similar to Azhule and it worked for me also.

Hey thanks for your help. I did the procedure about 15 times and it finally worked and finally bled. I didn't realize it was so much effort to get that air bubble out of it.
Now its on to other mods and fun rides.
