New shop.
This is my new space. 32x48 on 4.5 acres.
And I suppose some may be interested in the house. We finally closed on Tuesday after what seems like ages. Nearly two months.

Home Sweet Home, Kato.
It looks like a very beautiful comfortable welcoming home on some beautiful property. You need more kittens. :P

Don't know what happened to the kitten. The neighbors pitbulls probably ate him. I have already asked them to contained them to their yard. Haven't seen the dogs since.
Don't think Buford would appreciate having to use the paws of fury on them.

Eating your little girl's kitten is not a way to be a good neighbor. That was terrible.
Pit Bulls can be, and usually are, good dogs but the neighbor needs to keep them out of your yard and away from your family.

It wasn't our kitten. He just appeared while we were looking at the house. The pitbulls are friendly, but can be a nuisance too.
So far they have kept them contained. Haven't seen them since Tuesday. Weld, I will be building some shelving and adding some more outlets in the shop. Then probably work on some chicken tractors. I did get a new air filter for the Ford tractor today. Ace had to order one for me. I need to get the snow blade mounting on it and make some larger skids so it will glide over the gravel.

That's a nice shop! The house is nice, also. I'm very happy you got moved into your new home, Allen.

Please show us how the blade mounts, when the time comes. Will it be hydraulic or manual?

Awesome digs Kato! Do you still have the old house as well or did you sell it?
P.S. I've always loved two story houses... I'd much rather have an upstairs than a basement anytime! |

I still have a house in GA. It is rented until the market comes back. We have been busy moving and just finished moving out of the rental house last night. Most of the upstairs has been repainted and I painted the living room ceiling before moving stuff in.
Found out the standpipe for the washing machine does not like the high flow pump our machine has. The pipe is 1 1/2 inch and 2 inch is recommended. Looks like I get to do plumbing tomorrow.

Is there a crawl space below the washer?

Yep. I spent about 4 hours under there. I now have a 2 inch PVC pipe to the main sewer line. The old galvanized steel and cast iron plumber was plugging up with rust flakes.
I think later I am going to replace the 4 inch cast iron with PVC and then I should be good. There is only about 4 feet of it left. We have the upstairs painted and all the girls stuff in place. Kitchen and dining about 80% done. Living room about 50%. The shop has been neglected, but I removed some old track lighting from the living room that will be the new shop lighting.
