hi from qld australia

hi guys im new tp the forum and have just purchased a loncin 200cc road trail bike ... so far its great but i small problem with the rear breaks ..there is plenty of pad and fresh fluid but i have no rear breakes at all ive flushed the fluid blown the airlines out with air pressure and still cant get fluid down the lines to the rear caliper .... the rear brakes did lock up on me while test riding it aswel and we had to crack the lines to release it ....also l i noticed the master cyclinder has a few small leaks when i pump it on the brake pedal could this be the problem ??? other then that i love the bike i paid $900 with rego till amy this year its a 2007 model with 3400 klms on the clock

Welcome!

That sounds like a good price for a decent bike. My guess is that the leaking master is the key. Complete replacement assemblies are cheap on eBay.

cool i will look into it ..what are the other brands thats are the same parts ? im not fimiliar with what is universal to fit yet .....we have a dealer here near me but i havent been able to get there as its the weekend and there not open .....also can i adjust the height via the shock on the bike ? it looks like i can but im not sure it seems to have to large nuts which look as though they go both left or right and vice versa to adjust the height

Welcome to the forums! I agree with W&G, if you have leaks at the master cylinder it's probably taking air in and will never hold pressure. Replace or rebuild my friend

Not sure which other bikes share the same parts. Search for generic terms on eBay, like "dirt bike brake" and see what comes up.

Adjusting the coil spring will only limit the amount of sag, so you'd need to either modify or replace your suspension link to increase or decrease seat height.

Welcome; we are glad you joined us!

Loncin has a good reputation for building engines. I agree with the others; I suggest you replace the master cylinder for the rear brake. If you have time, please post some photos of your bike; we love photographs!
