Soup, have you adjusted the valves yet? The Chinese usually set them way too tight.

Yep, the stock suspension, especially the rear shock stinks for serious off road riding. The rest of the bike is pretty dang good quality for the $, but yep, though I like Zuma products, they have cut corners in order to reach that price point.

The front wheel bolt is the one that bolts the bike's front wheel down on the crate.

The suspension may be better suited for small Asians, and children. The target audience of this bike.
As an adult you can ride it, but probably off-roading isn't a good idea, just like you wouldn't ride on road on a Templar with 2 adults of 300+ lbs each either.

Any notice that the Storm 150 exhaust has gotten louder over time? X-Pro wants me to take a video to show them but I don't understand how a video is going to give them any clue how loud the bike is. Maybe I'll just fart into the camera?

It did and the can also changed color to a green hue lol, looks pretty cool..
Its probably the internal mesh or packing wearing away.. also, check that the exhaust bolts are tight

Update: sold the Storm 150 today. In the last 6 months my daughter was able to learn how to ride and enjoyed it very much but its time for something bigger for her that can get to 60mph and be faster overall and im looking at the base Templar (not M or X) as the next stop. As i've previously owned a Titan DLX and it was pretty great for what it was, this will come with the better 249cc overhead cam Zong engine, so it should be pretty fun out of the gate.

That's a pretty big step up.
The storm 150 is for teenagers.
The Templar is for adults.

Templar base model should be a great fit. My 15yo son does ok on my X but I'm planning on getting him a base model soon. Lower seat height and slightly shorter wheelbase than the X

Exactly my thoughts.. i remember the Templar X being taller than the Titan (which is the base templar now) so it should work out well. Also, my 17yo son will be able to share the bike to ride offroad trips with me and he is no beginner, whereas with the Storm 150 it was way too small and underpowered, so its a win-win

Muffler packing is a consumable item, it wears out over time. If you run rich it will accelerate the rate at which your muffler packing wears. Drill out the rivets and repack it if you want to quiet it down.
