Yikes!

With that said I am careful to never complain about the heat here. Snow I'll bitch about though.

there is some truth to this, as last summer there were 109 days straight of over 100 degrees here in san antonio. me, i can't take the cold. if it gets below 60 i start shivering like a scared chihuahua.
ill head north when we are out of water. may be sooner than i'd like to admit.

No shortage of water where I live; it falls from the sky. We're two hours North of Seattle, and we have the same weather pattern. I don't complain much about the rain, because I don't have to shovel it, and I have the perfect haircut for rain. It's about 1/8" long.

We get about eight months of rain off and on, and about four months of sunshine with little to no rain. We have water sprinkler restrictions in July and August, but I'd never use a sprinkler anyway.

Snow is a real rarity in our area.

We pump our water out of the Columbia, Snake, and Yakima Rivers.

That water in turn comes from the mountains of Canada, Idaho/Montana, and the Washington Cascades.

We average only 7.5" of rain a year here, and most all of that comes in the winter. Still the water supply is good due to the rivers.

I really enjoy an arid climate, with low humidity. I don't mind the heat at all; bring it on! 8) I don't like freezing temperatures, and I don't like snow. I am very happy spring is arriving in Idaho.

It's definitely a 'possum; I recognized it immediately. However, I think a 'possum looks much more like a rat than a cat. :P
