24v alternator for a 1998 Cat 3116. Maybe I’ll get the 100% core charge back on Monday.

One of my neighbours at camp ,has three acres on the river ,and 15 acres bush directly behind my place ,and it used to be part of a farm .Anyways he has an old farm tractor that has been sitting for many years ,it was buried in the mud up to the axles ,stuck in gear ,left for dead .His place is for sale ,so he offered the tractor to me and the other neighbours if we get it off the property before his place sells .This morning ,I brought two fresh batteries ,some gas ,some wrenches and I got it out of gear in 5 minutes ,swapped out the battery and fueled it up in another 10 minutes ,jumped the solenoid and had it running .Problem is the clutch doesn’t disengage ,but I grabbed my jack all ,jacked it out of the mud ,tossed some of his firewood in the craters from the tires ,and backed it out of the mud hole and half way to my place before I turned it around and rode it home .I have always wanted a farm tractor ,and will have lots of work for it once I get the clutch squared away ,but it’s sitting beside my spyder hotel .I will be grinning for days over this thing .
Here are the pictures as found ,and after I got beside the spyder colony .I think I am going to drive it right through the spyder colony one day ! Need I mention it was the best day at camp ever ! |

Is that a later Ford or a Massey? Either way, good score.
Clutch, eh? Splitting time.

It’s a Ferguson te20 or something like that .I don’t know anything about farm tractors ,but splitting it looks easy as pie .I am going to try adjusting it ,possibly burning off some oil on the clutch ,usually a bad clutch slips ,this one doesnt slip at all so far .The guy I got it from is not mechanically inclined ,and didn’t know that it requires a deliberate h pattern to shift ,so I think he probably has not learned to keep his foot off the clutch ,let alone adjust the thing correctly .I don’t care ,it’s a great tool to have over there and will earn it’s keep no problem .

Might be trading in the Kia Soul for this. 2018 Hyundai Tucson GL Awd. Kinda getting wary of driving a fwd in winter especially on the highway. Since my wife travels back home several times a year. It made sense to upgrade again. She has gotten used to driving my Jeep which has Awd.

Another fuel pump for my truck. It crapped out last night when we got in it at the restaurant we were eating at to come home. I knew immediately what was wrong. I just cleaned the tank out and replaced the entire sending unit with pump about six months ago. I had a full tank of fuel too. It's a pain to do it but it's easier to remove the bed than to drop the tank. The bolts that hold the straps are hidden on my truck. |

Subaru uses NGK/NTK brand for oxygen sensor from the factory... can usually find them for a lot less than the Stearlerships want for them

If it's a turbo car then the O2 is probably a wide band unit.
