No,it looks like it but it didn’t shift. I think I might of had my chain to tight and it pulled the gears back and busted my engine block. Anybody know where I can get the left engine block case?
Sorry pictures upside down |

You have to get them as a set (they're machined as a set).

Yep, chain was too tight and pulled the output shaft out the back of the case. I've seen it before. You'll probably need new engine case halves and possibly a new transmission gear set with shafts and bearings.

It's not hard to get the chain too tight on these bikes (Hawk, TT250, and Enforcer). The mechanics of the swing arm in relation to the front sprocket cause the chain to get tighter as the swing arm travels upward.
I use the TT250 chain slack spec for my Hawk, which is 15mm of deflection without forcing the chain, and I always favor it being a little on the loose side of things. It might look too slack with that much deflection, but as I said, the chain tightens up when the suspension compresses. Sorry to see your bad luck with this. Hopefully you can get it back on the road with minimal investment. Thankfully these parts are cheap, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Yeah I still have a hard time adjusting my chain I’m scared having it to loose because it already fell off once and jammed up on my sprocket when I first got the bike. So I put it tight but with only a small amount of play in it and I didn’t take into account that it tightens when I sit on it. Texaspowersports has it I think for 95 free shipping I’m gonna call Monday and make sure it’s both halves, also gonna call rps and see how much they want for it. Sucks because I feel the bike was running better than ever. Oh well hopefully I’ll get it split tomorrow and order the pieces I need Monday. Not sure what I love more working on it or riding it. Oh yeah before it busted that same day my start button started going out I would have to press it three to four times before it turned on. My last start up before it broke it wouldn’t even work anymore I had to use the kick start, battery’s good. So not sure if my starters going out or electrical problem.

Problem solved... until the corrosion builds up on the wires/terminals/bolts again time to pull and clean all the grounds/wires/pins/bolts/connectors and put Dielectric grease on everything to help prevent the problem from happening again

WOW!! Man you are having the worst kind of luck with this bike, I'm sorry. Looks to me like something let go in that transmission again. Time to buy a whole new engine. Find you a Zongshen to put in that Hawk!

I just went to google and I can seem to find a CG 229cc engine without reverse. Hmm.

You can go with 229cc https://www.ebay.com/itm/250cc-engin....c100005.m1851 or you can go with this one. A little pricey https://www.ebay.com/itm/169FMM-250c...53.m1438.l2649

At the risk of being Debbie Downer, that true 250cc is actually 223. That's some serious rounding up.

Yeah my battery does have corrosion on it. I do need to clean them up and put dielectric grease. So I was thinking I can just get another case and just transfer everything from my old engine. Is this job harder than I think? I’m asking just cause everyone’s recommending a new engine.
