the CG or CB are a totally different animal - TW200 family is what you will need to slip right in....

I happen to have a dealer rebuilt 2006 ttr230 engine ,wiring, exhaust, carb etc. i have been saving for a TW swap ,but I haven’t found any TW’s lately for a good price .Where are you located ? It’s probably time I looked into passing this on to someone else .

Guys,
This has been a huge help. One more question before I’m off to the lab to begin rebuilding: Where would I find a XT225 or TT-R230 engine/engine kit? I’ve eBay’d the crap out of this and can find nothing. Is there an underground link somewhere that I’m missing? Thanks a lot! Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone. You’ve been awesome help! |

eBay turned up nothing for engines? Keep an eye on your local CL for crashed bikes; maybe you'll get lucky.

Does anyone have an idea where to find the plastics for the bike? Fairings, seat and gas tank? -Tylor

Them near impossible even in China, doubt you’ll find in USA unless of a parts bike.

You can modify a Clarke TW200 tank to fit.
