It looks like it would be a fun simple bike. No fuss, just get on it and ride to the 7-11 for a Slurpee.

Since it is inspired by a trials bike, the shifter is set back from the shifter shaft; the result is that the shifter requires spherical rod end linkage to move the shifter position. I had that on an old Hummer dirt bike like that and it was very poorly engineered. This linkage could be top shelf, but I would be prepared to swap out the stock spherical rod ends for higher quality units.
