Sharp looking bike. Funny that they refer to it as a chopper.

Looks like the DF250RTB is NOT available again.

I asked Safer what year is the DF250RTB and they replied"That model is currently out of stock!"

I just bought a df bobber. I am in Connecticut. I have the title from new York from seller. I have heard Connecticut won't title but will they transfer title and register?? Or do I have to register in Vermont??? Appreciate any help whatsoever. Thanks

MDStroup,
Get a VIN number from the vendor and take it to your DMV to check if can be registered in your state. Use to be a no for PA,NJ, and others. There is always the Vermont way. http://www.motorecyclenow.com/title-service.html

The carb on the latest DF250RTB is jetted just fine, no change necessary. The bike as delivered is geared way too low. No room to increase the size of the front sprocket so you need to get a smaller one for the rear. Stock is 45 tooth, I went with a 35 tooth from JT sprockets.
Max speed is about 55 MPH GPS. Biggest complaint about the bike is lack of power.
Long thread about the bike at

Thanks to culcune there is another place to get a DF250RTB. They also have a green one which I like..

Thanks for the info. That OD green one looks nice. Where did you see that one for sale? I didn't see a link for it in this thread.
