This is a Honda style axle with eccentric adjustment. I'd be happy with it, especially compared to my first generation Beast rear axle.

I will have to double check, but it looks identical to my 200cc Rebel T3 rear-end. I will take a picture and compare...

Excuse the crappy picture, but it looks identical. Other than the rubber/plastic shield also covers the bottom of the chain on the 250cc picture.

I backtraced where GIO is getting some of their bikes from, out of China. I used to import some of this stuff, small scale, so I know where to look.

Well, unless GIO or someone else starts importing them, you can't. I may contact them, see what I can see....

GIO did have something like that last year, it was a 250cc air cooled though and had different tires.

Agreed...my TAOTAO 250C came with liquid cooling. After one week the impeler stopped working. Doesn't seem to bother it though! I've run it on 90 degree days....air seems to cool it enough.

Ouch... good points though, I think the KISS princial (Keep It Simple Stupid) applies to these bikes. Seems anything other than the most basic stuff seems to fail. Like the totally useless "cooling" fan on my T3, which I noticed not only isn't working, but has basically fallen apart. Like that little computer-style fan is going to help cool the engine

Somehow, that computer fan makes me feel better if I'm doing slow manoeuvers; at least air is passing over the fins. Can't hurt.
